Heading into this double wedding weekend, I was stressing out! Ryan’s cousin set their wedding date after I had already booked an elopement for the morning before. It was an absolutely crazy weekend traveling from Jackson Hole to Portland Oregon for Robert & Michelle’s wedding. It was well worth the drive though and I’m so happy for them! I loved being back in Oregon for their spring wedding.

Portland Oregon LDS Temple

This location has a special place in my heart since it is where Ryan and I were married 8 years ago. I am so thrilled we got the chance to go back for Robert and Michelle’s wedding. Not surprisingly, the day dawned cloudy! Luckily we made it through all of the bride and groom portraits on the temple grounds without any rain. Right after the ceremony, it started to drizzle but it was mostly gone by the time they came out of the temple. I can’t believe how lucky we got with the weather! We spent an hour before their wedding ceremony taking photos around the grounds of the temple. I loved the clean crispness of the temple’s marble. My favorite spot was where I had them holding hands and running together with the trees behind them and the temple to the side.

All In The Little Details

The couple were so cute! Robert definitely had a good time goofing off and it was fun to see the two of them interacting. Michelle has four beautiful little girls and they were so pretty all dressed up the wedding. It was an intimate event with just their immediate family and closest friends in attendance. The bride rented her dress from The Glass Slipper Dress Rentals in Rexburg. I’ve worked with them on styled shoots and they have an amazing inventory of prom and wedding dresses. She looked gorgeous in it and it was the perfect traditional dress for her!

So glad they had us out for their Oregon wedding and it was amazing to be back in the place we sealed the deal 8 years ago!
