Chrissy and Brad were our stunning models for this elegant stylized Rexburg wedding at The Avenues. They came up from Utah just to be a part of this photoshoot! These two were so comfortable and romantic together! Brad wore a timeless tuxedo that looked so dashing on him. Chrissy wore a high-class a-line with fitted bodice and 3/4 sleeves that had simple belt detailing.
Something that I loved about working with them was how effortlessly they posed together and interacted. There was a gentle ease about their movements and I loved the connection they conveyed in the resulting photos!
The Avenues is a new wedding venue that opened in 2017. Their first location was beautiful and intimate, but they knew they wanted a bigger space for larger events. They renovated a new building and held their grand opening in July 2019 in a larger, more convenient space!
This styled shoot was my first time stepping inside their brand new wedding venue and I was floored. I fell in love at first glance with the shiplap, beautiful flooring, and natural lighting streaming through the many windows. It has a slight edge of rustic but in a very elegant and classy way. The rougher wood wall surface adds a little earthiness to the venue in an trendy yet sophisticated way.
One of my absolute favorite things about this wedding venue is all of the light that it allows into the space. When choosing a wedding venue, the amount of natural light in a space, and the color of the walls and floor make a huge difference in the ambiance of the space. White walls with tons of window light will always be my favorite decor in an indoor venue.
Events like these shoots are not a simple feat. It includes hours of work from several different local wedding vendors all lending their talents to pull all these details together. Wedding and Party Exchange always amazes me at variety of decorations they have in their shop. I’ve worked with Crystal on several sets, including my last two photography retreats! For this event, they provided the florals, place settings, and centerpiece pieces for the table and accented the items that The Avenues offers on site.
My friend, Celine from Look for the Light Photo Video was the vision behind this shoot. The wedding bouquet was designed by Atkin Arrangements. The bride styled her own hair and makeup and wore a gorgeous sophisticated dress from Circle of Love. Thank you to the talented vendors who worked together to make this stylish and graceful wedding shoot happen.
This is a venue that I hope to photograph a wedding in soon! If you are planning your wedding here, please message me about being your photographer. It is such a dreamy location!
