This fun couple chose to have a first look on the temple grounds. We went to the temple on a Monday, when it is closed so we didn’t have to worry about patrons milling about. The temple grounds remain open for those who want to visit and walk around but there are not usually very many people around. It’s a nice, private setting that means a lot to this couple. One of my favorite things about a first look is seeing how excited but nervous the wedding couple are! We got Scott all set up, looking away from the direction that Neva would come in. Then once Neva was close enough, we fluffed out her dress and had Scott turn around!
Fairytale Horse-drawn Carriage
Neva’s grandfather had this beautiful carriage that he was selling. She really wanted to have it included in her bridals, but we had to do it quickly! We actually took Neva and Scott’s formal couple portraits before we photographed their engagement session! The bride definitely had some ideas on how she wanted the horse-drawn carriage photos to happen. I’m so glad we made it work, she was like Cinderella.
Rexburg Temple Bridals
After the first look and photos with the horse drawn carriage, we took additional formal couple portraits around the temple grounds. Couple portraits are my favorite part of any wedding day, but I especially love when we have the time to do them ahead of time also!
