The majority of my elopement and wedding clients come from across the country, which probably comes as no surprise. So, it’s actually kind of rare that I get to photograph engagements! This year was so much fun because I got to photograph several of them. In the Fall, Cassidy contacted be about being their engagement and wedding photographer.
First Comes Love
Cassidy and Eric were both attending school here locally in Rexburg when they met and fell in love. After chatting about what they wanted in engagement photos, we agreed that Swan Valley was the perfect place for them. There is a gorgeous waterfall about one hour from Rexburg that makes for epic photos. It was the perfect backdrop for their love!
GET A LITTLE MUD ON THE TIRES
It started raining less than half way through our photo shoot, luckily these two were not deterred from sticking it out! It started getting a little crowded at the waterfall, so we hopped in the car and drove to another location just down the road. While the view of the waterfall is absolutely breathtaking, and one of my favorites in Swan Valley, I love photos with giant pine covered hills. This road is a little two lane dirt road with little traffic, which makes it perfect for running and having a little fun!
Next Comes Marriage
Cassidy and Eric were married in Montana over their semester break. I would have loved to photograph their wedding, but a six hour drive through the mountains in the middle of the winter didn’t sound like the best plan. And considering the amount of snow we received in the weeks leading up to their wedding, it just wasn’t in the cards. I’m glad they found a local photographer to do it for them! I am so happy for these two and wish them a wonderful and blessed marriage! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Schneider!
