I met Veronica at the Marry Market Bridal Fair. We exchanged contact information and set up a dinner date for the next week. I was so excited to meet up with her and Michael and go over all of the wedding plans. The day that we met up she had already chosen me as her photographer, so we got to go over more details in depth than usual! I love it when this happens!
At the time of their marriage, Veronica and Michael had been together for 13 years! They are school sweethearts, and have three beautiful children together. No doubt, the kids were the stars of the show during their wedding at Pine Hill Events. The abiding love their family shares was so evident all throughout the day.
Bride’s First Look with Dad
The bride chose to do a first look with her dad, which is always such a touching moment on the wedding day. I think it is so thoughtful when brides include their dads this way. We had to be really sneaky because we also had to make sure that the groom, or anyone else, didn’t see the bride before she walked down the aisle.
Yellow Wedding Cake and a Taco Bar
One of the funny things about this wedding, was that I absolutely loved their yellow cake. But, their cake wasn’t actually supposed to be yellow! Somehow the frosting in the sun had turned from white to yellow. Of all the things that could go ‘wrong’ on a wedding day though this one I think is pretty minimal. They also had an authentic taco bar that their family helped provide and prepare. You KNOW I was all over that!
Sunset Wedding Portraits at Pine Hill Events
The couple chose to do a separate bridal session after their wedding day, but we still snuck them away for about 20 minutes to do some couple portraits. I always try to snag couples right before sunset so we get that beautiful lighting. Then we made it back in time to kick off the dancing and after party!
