Brooke and Collin’s wedding day was so fun! They were sealed in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Rexburg Idaho Temple for time and all eternity. Then they held a small luncheon at The Avenues Rexburg Wedding Venue. They were surrounded by their closest family during their ceremony. Both families traveled from California to attend their nuptials. Luckily, both sets of siblings were allowed inside the temple’s gates as Brooke and Collin came out of the temple, which was so special!

We knew that we were going to have very limited time inside the temple gates for photos, if I was even allowed inside the gates at all. So Brooke and I met before the day of the ceremony to scope out sections outside the temple gates that we wanted to use for couple and family photos. After the immediate family portraits inside the gate, we went to the Rick’s Gardens at BYU-Idaho. The gardens had the perfect space to take the rest of the photos! I’m so glad that we did because it was a beautiful contrast to the open lighting that we had at the temple. The funniest but worst moment of the day for me was the sprinklers! Even though we scouted locations the day before, the sprinklers kept coming on in the areas we were closest to! It made for some scrambling and laughter.

Classy luncheon and reception at The Avenues

Brooke and Collin had their luncheon and reception at The Avenues Wedding & Event Center in Rexburg, Idaho. They had only their close family in attendance. Everything looked so beautiful, with no detail unplanned! There were a lot of cute decorations that completed the whole look. I was so impressed by all of the thought that went into how to keep kids entertained. Brooke’s friend drew up a coloring sheet of the bride and groom. It made me feel like Brooke and Collin were a prince and princess. One detail that impressed me was a pamphlet that was all about the bride and groom. The contents described Brooke and Collin’s dating relationship, their favorite things, and included their engagement photos! How cool is that? What a great way to help their extended families get to know Brooke and Collin as a couple.

Plush Floral crafted the floral arrangements for the wedding, which were absolutely gorgeous!
