The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
This romantic Diamond Cross Wedding will have you wishing you could get married all over again. The Tetons are so dreamy. Will and Catherine gathered with their closest family and friends for an evening of celebration. Their original 2020 plans were a victim of the Covid pandemic. But this year, they were able to celebrate with family and friends at Diamond Cross Ranch. I love having the opportunity to photograph weddings at Diamond Cross Ranch because it is so picturesque! It’s also one of the few places where you can get an epic view of the Tetons without the crowds.
This wedding day started out a little bit rough for this couple. The bride’s father ended up in the hospital following a horse riding accident the day before. Luckily, he was feeling well enough to tune in via a live video. Her mother walked her down the aisle and into a beautiful wedding ceremony. During the wedding ceremonies at Diamond Cross Ranch they release all of the horses into the pasture. Their friend officiated for them, which is a growing trend among destination wedding and elopement couples. It’s one that I am 100% on board with! I feel like there’s so much more insight into the couples relationship with each other, their love story, the challenges that they’ve already faced together, and the triumphs that they’ve been able to celebrate.
This crew was not afraid to party hard with shots, dancing, and all kinds of movie references for photos. A&B Productions brought a sweet photo booth and costumes for all of the guests to take pictures with and put in the couples wedding book. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a few photos of my own!

Their gorgeous flowers were done by JH Flower Boutique. We have done several weddings together and I love their floral style.
Catering was done by Three Peaks Restaurant . While I love a beautiful wedding cake in terms of design, I was so happy to see that he brought along his famous donuts. Donuts are definitely my new favorite wedding trend! They are just melt in your mouth goodness.
Golden hour couple portraits are always my favorite time of any wedding day. I love getting to sneak the bride in the groom out in front of the Teton mountains for their pictures. Diamond Cross Ranch has a beautiful pond on their property. The owners allow the wedding couple and the photographer to go out with the horses and do photos next to the pond. This body of water gives a fun reflection of the Teton mountains, or of the couple depending on the angle we’re shooting from. These two wanted me to lead 100% and let them know what to do which was perfect! We worked to give them that romantic, whimsical, dreamy feel to their wedding photos. Every time I shoot a wedding at Diamond Cross Ranch I feel like I’m in a fairytale!
