This has been one of my favorite proposals to date! Hari surprised his girlfriend Sandhya with an epic Wedding Tree proposal in the Teton-Bridger National Forest.
The Wedding Tree
Located just outside of Jackson Hole, this beautiful location is perfect for couples wanting something intimate and private. A few years ago, they stopped allowing dispersed camping in this section, and now it’s essentially deserted. Wedding Tree is the perfect place for an intimate elopement or surprise proposal. And I am so happy to be sharing photos from this Jackson Hole picnic proposal with you! I loved working with Hari to plan this perfect surprise proposal, and meeting his beautiful girlfriend.
Jackson Hole Picnic Proposal
Hari planned a picnic, which Sandhya knew about. She just didn’t know the surprise coming at the end! They spent time setting up their blanket and charcuterie items and enjoying the beautiful views. Rain threatened all day but we had the best lighting and views I could have hoped for.
After about 30 minutes of picnicking, Hari had Sandhya close her eyes. Then he led her to the spot between the trees. He got down on one knee and when she opened her eyes, he started telling her all the things he loves about her. It was a beyond blessed moment, hearing how their love story developed from their very first date. And what do you know? Of course she said “Yes”! I gave them some time to soak it in by themselves, then we wandered around the mountain area and took the first of many engagement photos.
Grand Teton National Park Engagement Photos
We met the next day and photographed more engagements at Mormon Row and Schwabacher’s Landing which will be shared on the blog soon. They have such a beautiful and natural chemistry, that it was easy to take way too many photos of them!
