Dan and Amanda were traveling with Amanda’s sister, Marissa, and boyfriend, Justin, to Jackson Hole. Justin proposed to Marissa on a hike earlier in the day.  He hired me to photograph Schwabacher’s Landing Couple Portraits that evening. It was so special for them for Dan and Amanda there to be a part of the moment! Of course, we had to grab a few shots of just them as well to document their time in Jackson Hole.

Schwabacher’s Landing has such a special place in my heart because of its beautiful sunsets and iconic view of the Tetons. It’s a highly trafficked area in the park, but still has the feel of seclusion. Because it’s not a trailhead that leads to multiple hikes in the area, people come to take photos and don’t stay very long. This makes it a perfect place for a proposal, engagement session, couples photos, family photos and even weddings. With such a variety and scenery and locations along Schwabacher’s Landing, there’s now way you’re going to be disappointed!

Iconic Grand Teton View

Grabbing a new vantage point of the iconic Grand Teton view is one of my favorite things. I started doing this over the summer of 2021, towards the end of the session. We hop back in the car and drive to the entrance on the main highway. There’s a little small area where we can pull off to park, we hop out the car, and climb up a little hill. It’s gives a very different vantage point of the Teton mountain range. Full of sagebrush and vast openness it’s the perfect place for some sun-kissed dips and kisses. Simply Mini Couples Sessions for 2022
