There are so many cool people getting engaged all year round. Check out these Top Jackson Hole Proposals of 2021 and tell us which one is your favorite! These are shared in chronological order and are all my favorite.
If you’re considering proposing while in Jackson Hole, check out these proposals for more inspiration. I’m always impressed with the ideas that people come up with for popping the question. While each of these Jackson Hole proposal is unique, they’ve all ended with a “YES!”
What a sweet proposal for these two. I helped set up a picnic blanket with a charcuterie board for them. We hid in the bushes and Zach brought Sarah down to the edge of Jenny Lake where the picnic was waiting. She thought it was for someone else, so the surprise was even better! Jenny Lake in the early spring still has snow but the water is still lower than mid summer, so we got to climb over rocks during their engagement session.
My favorite part of this proposal was the even sweeter surprise that Jacob had planned for Ashley. After she said yes, Jacob pulled out his phone and played pre-recorded congratulatory videos from friends and family. These two are tying the knot in 2023!
Kais went above and beyond for his proposal to Zenobia. He sent me an album of photos that we printed out and my husband and I set up this whole picnic area with the photos and props from Wedding and Party Exchange. This intimate location is out of the way of most of the GTNP traffic and the perfect place for a private proposal.
You’ve never seen a girl so excited to say YES! She literally couldn’t stop bouncing around in excitement. Charlie brought Dawson to Schwabacher’s Landing for their proposal. There was crazy weather getting ready to erupt, but luckily we were able to photograph their proposal and a full engagement session.
This early morning, sunrise proposal at Schwabacher’s Landing was one for the books! Maddie’s reaction was priceless, and Kalvin knocked the proposal out of the park. As far as Jackson Hole Proposals go, sunrise is my new favorite time of day! While it calls for a very early wake up, the colors are just stunning!
Hari planned a beautiful private picnic at Wedding Tree for the two of them. Mid way through the picnic, he brought Sandhya in between the two trees and got down on one knee. He told her all of the things he loved about her and why they were a great couple together, then popped the question!
Hiram hired me to be their hiking photographer for a destination proposal at Taggart Lake! Audrey’s parents and her sister and fiance accompanied them on the hike. While mom and dad knew it was going to happen, they had no idea it was happening on the hike! Her sister knew and had talked her into wearing some “non-hiking” clothes so she was a bit dressier. This proposal was everything she could have dreamed of – a hike, the mountains, that little blue Tiffany ring box!
Two hiking proposals in one week was quite the adventure! Nolan and Elizabeth hiked with their immediate families up to Inspiration Point on Jenny Lake. He wore a puffer vest the whole time to keep the ring a secret. Once they got to the top, he brought her to the edge of the viewing area and asked her to marry him. She was so shocked and happy!
Brice and Morgan got engaged at Moulton Barn on Mormon Row. He was so anxious and nervous about it all, that once he asked and she said yes, they went off and sat in the grass to get their bearings back! It was such a good surprise and the perfect way to end their trip!
Jake and Michelle had a beautiful late summer proposal at Schwabacher’s Landing. My husband and I were traveling together for this photoshoot, so Jake asked Ryan to take a photo on his phone of them. Once they’d grabbed a few photos, he pulled the ring out and asked Michelle to marry him. After the proposal, we explored Schwabacher’s Landing together for engagement photos before heading to Mormon Row for a rustic addition.
Maddy’s sister contacted me about photographing Andrew’s proposal. There were several different ways we discussed having the proposal happen, but decided to do family photos with the whole crew. Part way through the Coe family photos, Andrew’s family and friend arrived as a total surprise. That’s when Andrew proposed!
Being a part of all these Jackson Hole Proposals was such an amazing part of my wedding season this year. Bring on all the proposals in the new year!
