Halle and Cameron had a beautiful Idaho Falls wedding with a reception at the Barn on 1st! We photographed their engagement photos in the Tetons over the summer. Then a few weeks before their wedding, we met up for Bridal portraits in Kelly Canyon. The day of their wedding was cold but sunny!

Idaho Falls Wedding

The couple chose to be married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, just a week before Christmas. Because of the cold weather, we only took a few family photos outdoors and had planned to do the rest inside the reception center.  The temple is very important to both of them and their families, so we made sure to take time for some additional time for couple portraits.

Barn on 1st

If you haven’t been to see the Barn on 1st yet, it’s beautiful! There is a great outdoor space also, but obviously we stuck with the indoor scene. The winter wedding decorations were so festive and went well with the venue’s architecture. The Barn on 1st is like a simple but elegant blank slate for weddings and events. Halle and Cameron had Crumbl Cookies and a hot chocolate bar, which were a total hit among the guests. I even got to take some home with me! Paisley Cakes made their unique wedding cake. I loved the green accents, and her cakes always taste amazing.

Sparkler Exit

When I photographed Halle’s sister’s wedding at The DEC, they had a sparkler exit. I was so excited when Halle and Cameron said they were planning on one too! Halle’s mom and I checked out the exit to decide the best way to make this sparkler exit work.  We almost didn’t get to have it because the sparklers were hard to light! But luckily we got them working. Everyone lined up on the stairs so the couple would be better lit, and I think it worked out perfectly!
