Fall is one of the best time to take family photos in the Tetons. With the changing leaves and dreamy light, these Schwabacher’s Landing Family Portraits are to die for! The White family traveled from Georgia to experience the Tetons for the first time together as a family. And now, Amber can’t wait to go back with just her and her husband. We had originally planned on a sunrise photoshoot. However, the week or so before their session, the morning temperatures plummeted to near freezing, so we opted for an evening session.

Fall Foliage and Evergreens along the River

One of the things that makes Schwabacher’s Landing a photographer’s dream is the variety of scenery. With the mountains behind, river running through, and a plethora of trees and bushes, it’s exceptional. There is also a high chance for wildlife sightings (mostly moose, but sometimes beavers). It has a lot of deciduous trees mixed in with the evergreens so it always looks “alive”. And when those leaves start changing colors, it’s a vibrant experience.
