I was so thrilled to take Fall Rexburg Engagement Photos for my nephew and his fiancée. We’ve enjoyed getting to spend a bit more time with them through their dating time. She has been attending school at BYU-Idaho while he has been in Utah at BYU. They’ve had to spend the last several months long distance dating which isn’t easy! But, it’s allowed us to see my nephew more as he’s traveled up to see his special girl. They just got married and it was such a joy to celebrate with them.
Fall in Idaho is absolutely beautiful with the turning of the leaves. The best time is usually mid to late September through early October. Each year the leaves change at a different rate based on the climate and how quickly it begins to cool down. Not long after Jonathan proposed to Melanie, they came to Rexburg for photos. I had already scheduled fall mini sessions, so they had to work around my schedule a bit. We had such a great setting for their pictures!
One of my favorite locations to use is a campground out in Ririe, Idaho. Twin Bridges Campground is nestled between the two bridges that cross over the Snake River. This area is very popular for fishing, hunting, and other outdoor recreational activities. East Idaho is full of little gems like this. I did get a bit of a surprise a few weeks before these pictures when I went to scout it out and saw they had done major tree and bush maintenance. Some of my favorite locations were completely destroyed and gone, so I had to improvise a bit with the areas still available.
