Here are some Jackson Hole Rainy Elopement Tips for the wedding day that may include a little stormy weather. It can be stressful thinking about the possibility of your weather not being “perfect”. You never know what the weather is going to do. However, remember that your wedding day will be perfect no matter what happens – because the two of you will be married! While you’re planning though, let’s fill your pocket with some tips to help you plan in case rain happens.
Jackson Hole Rainy Elopement Tips
Bring umbrellas for you and your guests.
Ask if your photographer, planner, or lodging can provide any. Clear or white umbrellas can be purchased ahead of time, which I highly recommend doing! They make for some fun photos if you have them along.
Bring a good attitude.
This will help you to go with the flow and enjoy the day, come what may!
Have some back up ideas.
Think about location ideas that might serve as a good backup in case it’s raining in the area you’d like to take photos. Sometimes we can outrun the rain.
Book a Wedding Venue if your group is large enough.
Consider booking a wedding venue or lodging accommodations that has both indoor and outdoor areas to compliment your day in both areas. Having a private venue space helps relieve the stress of the weather.
Be flexible if you have a Jackson Hole Rainy Elopement.
Being flexible will allow you to enjoy your day to the fullest! Talk over options with your photographer before your wedding day about the options available if it rains. Sometimes we can offer a portrait shoot on another day. Or, if we need to shorten the photo time due to weather, then you can opt to have prints and products replace some of your photo time.
It’s always good to discuss any specifics with your wedding vendors. We’re here to help! Contact me today to learn more about Jackson Hole Elopement and Wedding Photography.
