The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
A June bride, moody weather, and colorful florals made this vibrant Wyoming micro-wedding complete! James and Erin celebrated their wedding with their family and close friends in Wyoming. They made things official with a ceremony at The Wedding Tree, followed by a reception on a private ranch over the mountain pass. I was so lucky to be their Grand Teton elopement photographer.
To start off their celebration, they shared a first look followed by private vows at Schwabacher Landing. The clouds were moody that afternoon, but it made the colors of the mountains, grasses, and florals absolutely pop! MD Floral designed the wedding bouquet and boutonniere for this Jackson Hole elopement. MD Floral is so talented and picked a winning combination of pink hues. This exquisite bridal bouquet is one of my all time favorite arrangements to date! Erin’s beauty specialist was La Bella Rose Beauty by Trudi Day.
Following their first look, the wedding party traveled out to the national forest. Erin and James then married at The Wedding Tree in Kelly, Wyoming. This forest location is secluded and enjoys a beautiful view of the Teton mountains on a clear day. The Wedding Tree is currently managed by The Friends of Bridger-Teton. All couples looking to use this outdoor location for a ceremony need to book through their site and pay a fee. Because of it’s location and terrain, it’s ideal for small groups who want more privacy than the national park offers.
During their intimate Wedding Tree ceremony, the bride and groomed waved at their adorable son and Erin had to really work to fit the ring on James’s finger! It was fun to see lighthearted moments during the momentous occasion! The Wedding Tree location is beautiful in June with the bright grasses and blossoming yellow flowers that are all over in the area. The mountains werestill snow capped in the distance as well! Lastly, the family met at the Private Estate where they were staying for a reception catered by Private Chef Andrew Blake.
