Western Vow Renewal Portraits are in the house! Heather and Bill decided to celebrate their 20 years together by dressing up for special portraits. They traveled to the Tetons with their children and we had the best time taking family photos of them all. This couple brought all the western vibes with them. The girls both wore white dresses and the boys were in blue jeans and bandanas.
While they decided not to have a vow renewal ceremony, they did want to celebrate with pictures in a special place and dressed fitting the occasion. Together we chose Schwabacher’s Landing as their portrait location. I love this beautiful area in the park with the river flowing in front of the Tetons. It can get crowded and buggy in the summer, but the soft tones after the sun has dipped behind the mountains are pretty unbeatable.
Heather spent many summers exploring the park with her family as a youth. A few years ago they brought their children to share the beauty of the park together for the first time. It felt right to come back to the Grand Tetons for their anniversary and vow renewal portraits! When planning your vacation to Jackson Hole, note that Grand Teton National Park is best enjoyed during the summer months. The park is most fully open for access during the months of May – October, although most hiking recreation and other activities are best from June – September.
