Andrew and Margaret got engaged on the back lawn of the Jackson Lake Lodge. Overlooking the vast Jackson Lake, their golden hour fall engagement photos were beautiful!
There was a slight miscommunication and Andrew proposed a little early, so I asked them to redo a few poses so they had closer photos available to share with their family and friends. And to have as keepsakes! Regardless of that, Margaret had THE BIGGEST grin on her face during the proposal!
Jackson Lake Lodge is located in the northeastern section of Grand Teton National Park. It’s about an hour drive from the town of Jackson, Wyoming. Nearby are some incredible views and opportunities for recreation. Jackson Lake has a swim beach at Colter Bay, and the famous Oxbow Bend that features a view of Mount Moran.
At Jackson Lake Lodge, there was beautiful variety right next to the lodge. From the back lawn, you can see lush green lake edges. A short hike up to Lunch Tree Hill gives you an even more expensive view of the entire lake and mountain range.
For the majority of their engagement photos, we went to the southwestern side of the lodge down a walking path. Here they were secluded from the rest of the guests and the trees provided some shade. The valley view opens up and golden light trickles in!
Jackson Hole engagement photos are always in style! We have so many incredible spots to choose from. Whether you are staying in the townsite, at a ranch or lodge, we can pick a great photo location that will fit your vision and vacation itinerary.
