Late October in Jackson Hole is definitely the off-season—most of the fall colors have faded, and there’s a quiet stillness that settles over the valley. But Seena and Eric embraced this quieter time of year, and honestly, it made their day feel even more intimate and special. The crisp mountain air and lingering golden fields at Mormon Row created the perfect backdrop for their elopement adventure.
Before we could capture their Mormon Row elopement pictures, Seena and Eric exchanged vows at Cache Creek Trailhead in the Bridger-Teton National Forest with their closest friends as witnesses. I had the honor of officiating their ceremony in this peaceful mountain setting. Since we didn’t have time to secure a permit from the national park, Cache Creek provided the perfect alternative. Despite the cold temperatures, the weather held—no snow, just crisp autumn air.
After the ceremony, we headed to Mormon Row North where those lingering golden fields created stunning Mormon Row elopement pictures. Seena was absolutely radiant in her A-line strapless dress with a long flowing veil and fur wrap—her hair and makeup were flawless. Eric looked perfect in a tan blazer, dress shirt, jeans, and a cowboy hat specially engraved with his monogram and their wedding date. We captured photos in front of the iconic barns and on the corrals with the Tetons standing majestically behind them.
Our final stop was Schwabacher Landing, which we were lucky to find still open for the season. The mountain peaks were hiding under clouds, but the still, clear water created beautiful reflections. Seena and Eric’s friends joined them for a few portraits, and of course, we captured that iconic dip-and-kiss photo with the mountains behind them.
Seena was actually referred to me by Tessica, another client who she grew up with. There’s nothing better than photographing friends who trust me to document their most important days.
If Seena and Eric’s elopement has you dreaming of your own intimate mountain wedding, I’d love to help bring your vision to life. Visit my contact form to inquire about booking your own elopement adventure in Jackson Hole!
