Their session was scheduled at String Lake following another couple’s engagement shoot. However, things beyond our control quickly changed our plans. A serious car accident blocked the road near Mountain View Turnout from the east entrance to the national park, preventing the couple from reaching their original location. They drove all the way around to the other entrance, only to receive misinformation that the road remained blocked. Fortunately, we had built extra time into our schedule for the original location, giving us flexibility to adapt.

I immediately called Marilyn to calm her nerves and assured her we could create stunning photos at a different location. We agreed to meet at Schwabacher Landing, an hour past our original time. The delay turned into an incredible blessing—the lighting was absolutely perfect, and the evening couldn’t have been more beautiful.
