We rescheduled their session due to potential inclement weather, and we were so glad we did. We missed the crazy snowstorm that came over the weekend. When they arrived for their sunrise shoot, the sky had already displayed brilliant orange and pink hues—the most beautiful sunrise I’ve ever witnessed at Oxbow Bend. Sadly, much of the vibrant color had dissipated due to their later-than-planned arrival. The soft, colorful dawn that remained still created a romantic atmosphere. We would have needed flash to capture them with the most intense sunrise colors anyway, so it worked out perfectly.
