The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
When reflecting on this last year, it’s hard to be negative about it. We were able to witness so many beautiful things in 2020. We were able to spend more time with family, and hold close what means the most to us. Out of all that beauty came love and celebration, micro weddings and elopements were huge trends. Many couples were forced to change plans multiple times, breaking traditional expectations all in the name of love. Although elopements aren’t what they used to be, I’m loving it. Couples are choosing adventure. Some get married in Grand Teton National Park, and others have an intimate backyard elopement.
Wherever your love is taking you, I’m ready to capture your adventure. If you’re interested in an epic Tetons elopement, I’ve got a few reasons to convince you it’s the right choice.
First, the views are incredible. There are lakes everywhere that make any spot for your intimate elopement straight out of a story book perfect. If you’re looking for a location that has beautiful waterfronts and incredible mountain views, get married in Grand Teton National Park. I promise, it’s full of beauty, and you won’t regret it. Phelps Lake, String Lake, and Leigh Lake are some of our favorites.
Next, the breathtaking lush green scenery found throughout the park is incredible. With the vibrant green surrounding the Tetons, your elopement photos will be full of life, light and color. We’ll be able to explore and enjoy the beauty that is within Grand Teton National Park. If you’re considering a summer wedding, that is the perfect time of year to see the beautiful greenery in all its glory.
Although winters can be cruel sometimes, if you choose to get married in Grand Teton National Park, the time of year won’t matter. Grand Teton National Park is beautiful year round! Nevertheless, filled with stunning locations no matter when you decide to say, “I do!” In the winter when the park is blanketed with white snow, you’ll look straight out of a movie with your gorgeous wedding gown floating along the snow. Or, jump in the water during the summer to celebrate your elopement!
If you’re an outdoorsy couple, and love a good mountain view, look no further. Grand Teton National Park has the most iconic view of mountains that will create a timeless adventure on your wedding day. Perfect for a day of fun with family friends. Also, would be so much fun to have a wedding weekend, elope, and go hiking to soak up all those views together! Not only are you able to say “I do” in an incredible location, but create lasting adventure-filled memories.
Maybe you’ve decided to get married in Grand Teton National Park but want to keep it intimate and quiet. You’re in luck. This beautiful park has tons of locations that would be perfect for your intimate elopement. Whether you decide to have just you and your partner there, or your closest family and friends, Grand Teton National Park has got you covered. Schwabacher’s Landing, String Lake, and even Taggart Lake Trailhead are beautiful spots with great views of the Tetons.
If you’re chasing that beautiful pink sky-time sunset for your wedding ceremony, or even for your bridals afterwards, Grand Teton National Park always knocks it out of the park. Not only are the views out of this world, but the sky is incredible at sunset. You’ll be able to celebrate your recent marriage with your lover, while taking in the incredible views and even more amazing sunset. While planning your big day, if you’re looking for that sunset vibe, I’m your gal! I can totally help planning your timeline to ensure you get those views. Reach out for planning advice, anytime!
Throughout your day in the Tetons, you’ll see so many incredible things. But the cherry on top are the historic buildings standing tall in the midst of those iconic mountain ranges. Not only are you able to get those mountain views, we’ll get a bit of rustic flair in on your day. Several historical buildings and landmarks, like Moulton Barn add character and are a great way to celebrate Grand Teton National Park.
Maybe we’re moving the party somewhere else to celebrate, you’re in luck! You’ll be super close to additional venues when getting married in Grand Teton National Park, perfect for accommodating your close family and friends. Later, you may decide to leave your venue, and sneak away for some pictures with the Tetons..we’ll be close enough to make that happen!
Nevertheless, if you get married in Grand Teton National Park, it’s going to be gorgeous and perfect. If you decide to elope, or celebrate at a nearby venue, or just take engagements there, it’s going to be incredible.
Being a Grand Teton elopement photographer, I can wholeheartedly say I love the Tetons. Those mountains are near and dear to me, and one of the most beautiful places on earth.
