Nicole and Ammon have been married for a few years, but wanted to do a formal couple session and bridal photos in the Tetons. These are some of my favorite photos to do. Even if you can’t afford a wedding photographer, you can still hire somebody to do a bridal session in a place that is special to you. Now, these two had hired a wedding photographer, they just wanted to do some additional pictures in the Tetons! I have couples who will travel to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park for their honeymoons, and they decide to do pictures in the Tetons! Even though they didn’t get married anywhere close here! I love this idea! Why wear your wedding dress only one time? You spent a lot of money on that thing, wear it as often as you want to.

Schwabacher’s Landing Bridal Photos

After looking at some location options, they chose Schwabacher’s Landing for their bridal session. We met the hour before the sun went down, which is my favorite time at Schwabacher’s Landing. Sometimes the bugs come out in full force, so you’ve got to spray on some mosquito spray to keep them at bay. But, the lightning is just absolutely stunning this time of day! This lighting keeps the couples well lit, but we don’t have the backlight causing lens flares and other issues. I usually do have to warm up my photos a little bit more when I’m editing because these have bluer tones since the light is behind the mountains.

Including a Wedding Bouquet in your Pictures

Sometimes couples don’t think about having flowers during a bridal session. I’m just here to say that they are so important to the overall feel of your photos! They give you something to do with your hands and just make it look more like a wedding day! This bride is actually taking a few floral classes and created her bouquet herself! So bonus points to her for being so talented!
