The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
Check out our incredible elopement photography from 2021! These Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park elopements are the stuff of dreams. From winter to fall and everything in between, you’ll find inspiration in these pages.
This Winter Elopement at Snowy Taggart Lake Trailhead is so dreamy. Despite the crazy blizzard that happened during it all, these two had high spirits and laughed together. They were so fun to work with! After looking at a few shops, she chose this beautiful black wedding dress for her elopement photography. I think it was the perfect choice for their winter elopement, especially when paired with her fur coat!
Joseph and Lauren got married in Grand Teton National Park at Schwabacher’s Landing. After their ceremony, we went to String Lake and Cathedral View Turnout for additional photos. I adored the delicate layers of Lauren’s wedding dress. The juxtaposition of jagged rocks and wild scenery mixed with the elegance of wedding attire is one of my favorite things!
These two eloped in secret and had the best accessories too! With incredible mountain jewelry and engraved ring box, these two had the ultimate Grand Teton National Park elopement. They brought a custom “We Eloped” sign to mark the occasion. Brianna and Curtis wed in an intimate wedding ceremony at Mormon Row, then we visited Cathedral Group Turnout and Jenny Lake for some additional elopement photography. If you’re going to travel all this way for a wedding, let’s make the most of it and explore multiple areas of the park!
What happens when two people come together with their closest family members, and have their friend marry them? This wedding tree elopement had 4 guests and 1 friend officiant, and was a blast! They waited out rain and thunder to have their ceremony, and we were so lucky to be blessed with incredible views the rest of the day. Wedding Tree is in Teton-Bridger National Forest and is a popular elopement spot because it doesn’t require a permit to hold a ceremony there.
Jen and Mike wed with only their parents and their dogs in attendance for their intimate elopement. They were married at Wedding Tree in a short ceremony, then adventured into Grand Teton National Park for photos at Mormon Row and Schwabacher’s Landing. They even got in the water, which you know is my favorite! The smoke was thick, but luckily the mountains still showed for a few photos!
If you want some summer water inspiration, look no further! These two had their beautiful ceremony at Schwabacher’s Landing at sunset. We took their couple portraits beforehand all along the trail. Then after their ceremony, they jumped in the water. Let the record show that this was 100% their idea, but I was certainly not gonna put a damper on it! I have never laughed so hard during a wedding shoot! Their entire wedding is the ultimate adventure elopement photography dream.
Mayra and Eddie had a beautiful second chance elopement at Jackson Lake Lodge, surrounded by their children. Married for more than 25 years, they split for a period of time, then decided to re-marry each other. It was such a touching and loving wedding ceremony as these two overcame much to be together again.
Their destination elopement at Wedding Tree was mired in smoke, but epic nonetheless! While the views were not what we were hoping for, their love was amplified as we focused on them and their love story. This was one of the first weddings my husband assisted on, and it was great to have him along! With photos at Wedding Tree, Mormon Row, Blacktail Ponds, and the famous antler arches, their gallery showcases great location inspiration.
Leah and Josh have a whirlwind romance! Dating for less than a year when they eloped, they both just knew that they could be happy together. Because of their desire to be baptized after their wedding, we did all of their photos beforehand. We traveled through Grand Teton National Park, exploring some of my favorite locations like Jenny Lake, Cathedral View, and String Lake! Check out their highlights.
Think big ballroom dress, classy navy blue suit, and the dreamiest light possible. These two looked like they were straight out of a fairytale – a prince and princess on their wedding day! They knew they wanted to get the most out of their elopement photography. When a couple travels so far to get married, we have to take advantage of our time together. We were able to document Getting Ready, First Look, Couple Portraits, Ceremony, and more in six different locations. The value of timeline planning is knowing exactly what is possible within a wedding package.
These two have been strong through a long distance relationship, and have created a beautiful life together. The highlight of their wedding day was having their little daughter along for the celebration! After a private ceremony at Wedding Tree, we popped champagne at Mormon Row, took a small walk on the Taggart Lake Trail, and ended the evening with dreamy lighting at Schwabacher’s Landing.
These two ended 2021 with the most elegant wedding! Dressed like James Bond in a tux, and fitted with the most beautiful lace dress and fur wrap, these two were the epitome of class. We took the tram up to the top of Rendezvous Mountain at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. We only spent 20 minutes in the freezing cold and wind at the top of the mountain, but it was worth every moment! Can you imagine having these images as part of your wedding album? If you’re considering a winter wedding, taking the ski lifts up for a view of the valley is a must!
