I met Amelia about two years ago when I was looking for a specific model to photograph “just for funsies”. Now, she’s in a serious, committed relationship with Kevin! I absolutely loved photographing these two and seeing them as a couple. They plan on spending forever together! I reached out to them to model for a client project, but that project went a different direction. We decided to keep our shoot scheduled anyways and had so much fun!

BYU-Idaho schooling and grad plans

These two have big goals, and are literally #couplegoals. She’s studying construction management, and he’s studying to become a doctor! I love hearing about people’s dreams! Amelia wants to flip homes and Kevin wants to be a youth endocrinologist (and I really hope I remember that correctly!) They’ve been together for two years and have been fast tracking their schooling to be done even sooner than normal. Her roots come from Boston and the Dominican Republic, and his hail from Florida and Venezuela! I love that BYU-Idaho allows people who are from different countries, states, and cities come together and meet. Thank goodness for opportunities coming in all different ways!

City Scapes in a Small Town

Rexburg is definitely known for being “small town”. But even in this small town, we get a feel for big city every once in awhile! I have seen all these fun parking garage and rooftop photo shoots on Instagram and Pinterest and wanted to give it a whirl.  I love how the photos turned out! We drove to a few different parking garages before finding “The One”, which were actually two. We took the parking garage photos in one, and the rooftop photos on another! The weather the morning of our shoot was kind of crazy and amidst it all, it started to SNOW. See for yourself below!
