This beautiful Jackson Hole spring wedding in Grand Teton National Park was the best way to kick off the beginning of the wedding season. I honestly loved this wedding so much that I was surprised I haven’t blogged it yet. So, you are in for a treat!

Jackson Hole Spring Wedding

Choosing when to get married is a big step, and there are a lot of factors to consider. Choosing late May for their ceremony was perfect timing. Nearly or all of the best photography locations are open and accessible by the public. There are less people in the park because not all of the schools are out for the summer yet. It’s not warm enough for all the swimmers and water sports people to be filling up the parking lots and being in the background of photos. It’s the best time to plan an elopement!

Schwabacher’s Landing Elopement Ceremony

Joseph and Lauren got married at the end of May in a beautiful ceremony at Schwabacher’s Landing. We chose this as our first location because of the lighting. The other areas we wanted to photograph them in get darker earlier since the sun dips behind the Teton peaks. Schwabacher’s Landing is my favorite location in the entire park and an absolute dream to photograph couples in!

String Lake Couple Portraits

String Lake is so beautiful in the spring, and near deserted. There were hardly any other cars in the parking lot, and no one on the beaches. This is vastly different from the hot summer months where the shores and waters get filled up with paddleboarders, kayakers, and swimmers. If you’re thinking about a Jackson Hole spring wedding, this is a location that should be at the top of your list for photos.

Cathedral View Sunset Photos

While I’ve photographed couples at Cathedral View turnout before, this was some of the dreamiest light I’ve experienced here. We ended the night with the beautiful golden hour and shaded light that I love so much. We turned on our headlights and experimented with some different lighting for fun at the end of the night too!
