As a Wyoming engagement photographer, I get to work in the most breathtaking location in the country. Marissa and Garret’s Grand Teton session was absolutely unforgettable. This couple got engaged before their trip to the Tetons, but they wanted to capture the dramatic mountain peaks in their engagement photos and we made it happen!
We started at Jenny Lake, where Marissa stunned in a vibrant red dress while Garret looked sharp in his blue suit. These two didn’t let their dressy attire hold them back. They sat on rocks, danced along the shoreline, and laughed together with the mountain backdrop surrounding them.
Next, we headed to Cathedral View Turnout in the same elegant outfits. They ran and danced in the road, shared one of my favorite romantic couple lifting poses in the sagebrush, and glowed beneath the iconic Teton peaks. The energy and joy they brought made every photo so fun to take.
Our final stop was Schwabacher Landing at sunset. Marissa changed into a shiny green skirt with a white sweater, while Garret switched to a button-up and vest for a slightly more casual vibe. The late evening light was absolutely stunning, and we captured some creative flash photography before wrapping up their session.
Marissa and Garret exemplified what makes engagement sessions successful: they chose diverse locations that showcased the Tetons’ beauty, selected outfits that complemented both their personal style and the scenery, and most importantly, they relaxed and had fun throughout the entire shoot.
